NCJW Racial Equity Community Education Day

12:00 pm — 4:00 pm

What does consciously anti-racist community look like? How can the process of building such a community deepen our awareness of structural racism and activate our capacities for collective liberation? We invite you to join NCJW and Dimensions CEO and founder Yavilah McCoy, who will share the Dimensions “Lexicon of Terms” and several contexts for understanding, discussing and engaging others in the work of dismantling systemic racism. This will give us a common language and understanding, as part of our vital work in uprooting white supremacy in our beloved community. This workshop will help us to build new pathways by asking ourselves “How can we each do the work needed to imagine and transform our spaces through commitments, practices, and plans for advancing racial equity?”
