Falling Through the Cracks—Issues Facing Native American Communities
Dr. Rebecca Crawford-Foster is a proud member of the Blackfeet/Dakota tribes. She is a clinical psychologist, professor and consultant who has worked closely with the Native American communities in South Dakota and Montana for over thirty-five years. She is also the mother of fourteen. She has a compelling story to tell, and one that has been invisible to most Americans.
Becky encourages us to view FRONTLINE: Predator on the Reservation for a snapshot of problems with Indian Health Service,
FRONTLINE and The Wall Street Journal investigate the decades-long failure to stop a government doctor accused of sexually abusing Native American boys for years and examine how he moved from reservation to reservation despite warnings.
