This year, Mother’s Day Baskets Project will have two separate Donation Drives for items!
We will be collecting items for Dignity Bags to provide to women and children in Domestic and Homeless Shelters.
Donated items must be new!
Please consider donating the following items:
- Personal hygiene and grooming items, such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, tooth paste, tooth brushes, lotion, cosmetics and cosmetic bags, nail polish and nail accessories, hair accessories, and more.
- Adult and kid puzzles, books, and small games, stuffed animals.
- Hats, scarves, socks, flip-flops, and fleece blankets.Taking place each year on the third Monday in January, the Martin Luther King, Jr., Day of Service (MLK Day) is the only federal holiday that is also designated by Congress as a national day of service – a “day on, not a day off.” Participation in service activities has grown each year as more Americans are encouraged to provide meaningful change in their communities.
