Comfort Care Kits

Our Comfort Care Kit project provides a small source of comfort for those who have sought an abortion.  As more than 25% of people seeking abortions travel to Illinois, this kit provides comforting items that can make that challenge a little easier. This kit was designed in conjunction with Planned Parenthood of Illinois. Our packing events include an educational component with a PowerPoint presentation and the kit packing/note card writing.

Groups hosting the Comfort Care Kit project are responsible for collecting the needing items, organizing a packing event, and delivering the kits to a clinic (NCJW will provide information on the clinic).
