Interfaith National Vigil for All Victims of Gun Violence

6:00 pm — 7:00 pm

Second Baptist Church
1717 Benson Ave, Evanston, IL

THIS Saturday night – Interfaith Vigil in person after Shabbat.  This date marks the 12-year mark of the Sandy Hook tragedy.

Please join us for an evening of remembrance with special musical guests, meaningful speeches and most importantly, being together in community.

The victims, survivors and the families impacted by gun violence are often forgotten. Therefore, the Newtown Action Alliance Foundation and the Newtown Action Alliance, in partnership with 160+ organizations will host the annual national vigil service of mourning and loving remembrance for all who have fallen victim to the ongoing epidemic of gun violence in America.

Our goal is simple. The gun violence prevention movement will unite to support the families and communities impacted by gun violence, educate, continue to raise awareness, and keep this critical issue front and center throughout our nation.

This vigil is also co-sponsored by NAACP, the Illinois Alliance to Prevent Gun Violence along with NCJW South Cook and NCJW Chicago North Shore Sections.
