NCJW Gives Back: Community Service in honor of MLK Jr. Day of Service

1:00 pm — 3:00 pm

Residence in Northbrook, to be provided after registration

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is ‘What are you doing for others?'”

Let’s Give Back on the annual MLK Jr. Day of Service – volunteer with other members and make fleece blankets together! The blankets represent a warm and welcoming hug to women and children leaving Domestic Violence shelters. These blankets will go into our Mother’s Day bags and Luggage for Freedom suitcases later this year.

No sewing is involved, just cutting and tying.  Give it a try and meet other members who are taking action in 2025!  Each blanket costs approximately $5. You can also Give Back by donating to the purchase of the fleece we’ll use.

RSVP is required. Please fill out the form below.
