Annual Installation and Awards Luncheon

11:30 am — 1:30 pm

1300 Patriot Blvd
Glenview, IL 60062

Join us for our annual NCJW Chicago North Shore Board Installation and Awards Celebration.  This year, enjoy a delicious Wildfire lunch while we honor our Cathy Carmody, Volunteer of the Year and Beth Najberg and Jill Lexier, Advocates of the Year.  Our keynote speaker is Sylvia Foti.

Cathy is a long time volunteer and past board member who never fails to step in where help is needed.  Beth and Jill, currently Co-SPAs for NCJW, have been amazing leaders and really changed the way we, as a section, react to policy issues.

Silvia Kučėnaitė Foti, MSJ, MAT, MFA, is a journalist, creative writer, teacher, and mother. Foti’s grandfather, Jonas Noreika is venerated as the heroic anti-Soviet General Storm in Lithuania. Foti, who was raised on the heroic legends of her grandfather, uncovered troubling evidence of antisemitism. By researching her grandfather’s life, she discovered the uncomfortable truth that he was in fact a Nazi collaborator.
