Luggage for Freedom Packing Day

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, making it a meaningful time to support women and children rebuilding their lives. Our 2026 goal is to deliver 450 filled suitcases and 400 backpacks to 16 shelters. Due to this increased goal, we need even more drivers and are asking all volunteers to deliver suitcases too if possible.

For more than 25 years, Luggage for Freedom has provided gently used luggage filled with new essentials for women leaving shelters, along with backpacks containing books, stuffed animals, and handmade fleece blankets for children.
