No-Sew Blanket Making: NCJW Gives Back March

Join us in Vernon Hills this Spring as we create something special together!

Our no-sew fleece blankets represent a warm and welcoming hug to women and children transitioning out of Domestic Violence shelters. These blankets will go into our Mother’s Day Initiative bags and Luggage for Freedom suitcases later this year.

No sewing is involved, just cutting and tying. The blankets will provide a sense of dignity to these women and children during a challenging time in their lives.

Give it a try and meet other members who are taking action in 2025!  Each blanket costs approximately $5. You can also Give Back by donating to the purchase of the fleece we’ll use.
