As a prequel to our soon-to-be rescheduled program with Shanghai Ghetto Survivor Doris Fogel, join NCJW online for a fascinating look at Shanghai before WWII. Susan Blumberg-Kason, author of Good Chinese Wife: A Love Affair with China Gone Wrong and co-editor of Hong Kong Noir will take us on a virtual tour of pre-war Shanghai including the true story of Bernardine Szold Fritz, a Jewish woman from Peoria who travels lead her 1929 Shanghai.
