The change from a flat to a progressive tax, proposed in the Fair Tax Amendment in 2020, was only about the Illinois tax on income.
What about other taxes? How does income tax interact with sales and property taxes? Will your taxes ever go down? Will Illinois ever have a tax structure that takes them all into account? How will there be enough money to fund human services in Illinois?
