13th Annual Martin Luther King Day of Service

Join together with the community virtually on Monday, January 17 beginning at 10 AM for the 13th Annual Martin Luther King Day of Service event hosted by the City of Highland Park’s Human Relations Advisory Group and the Park District of Highland Park. The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. federal holiday is a perfect opportunity for Americans to honor Dr. King’s legacy through service. The MLK Day of Service moves us closer to Dr. King’s vision of a beloved community.Dr. King tirelessly pursued the advancement of human rights for the greater good and we can honor him by practicing forms of charitable giving as a way to advance our communities.The event consists of a virtual presentation as well as community service opportunities offered by a number of organizations including NCJW.

NCJW Chicago North Shore will be collecting items to be used with our Mother’s Day Basket Project.

  • Decks of Cards
  • Small games/cards for School-Aged Children
