Did you know that there are 16,000 children in our city, suburbs, and collar counties sexually exploited in the commercial sex trade?  Become a part of the collective JEWISH VOICE to combat sex trafficking!!

JCAST Chicago works to eradicate sex trafficking in the Chicagoland area through public awareness, community engagement, and advocacy at state, local and national levels. Partners with interfaith and human rights groups, non-profit organizations, government officials, and law enforcement agencies. JCAST Chicago works with congregations, clergy, Jewish organizations and secular groups to educate the community and take action to end demand for purchased sex and protect children. The coalition meets bimonthly in Chicago and the Northern Suburbs.

 

JCAST Chicago Mission:

The Jewish Coalition Against Sex Trafficking (JCAST) Chicago works to eradicate sex trafficking in the Chicagoland area through public awareness, community engagement, and advocacy at local, state  and national levels.  Inspired by Jewish values, we partner with interfaith and human rights groups, non-profit organizations, government officials, and law enforcement agencies.

JCAST Chicago Goals:
Assess existing sex trafficking services and needs in the Chicagoland community to determine the appropriate/most effective role for JCAST Chicago.

  1. Educate the Coalition and member constituencies.
  2. Increase coalition membership.
  3. Raise Public Awareness about sex trafficking.
  4. Engage and collaborate with clergy.
  5. Be a resource for the Jewish and secular communities.
  6. Advocate for policies and legislation related to eradication of sex trafficking.
